Quantity Surveyor Plymouth
We re working with a well-established, growing construction consultancy based in Plymouth that s looking to strengthen its team with the addition of a talented Quantity Surveyor.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys combining Quantity Surveying with Project Management responsibilities and wants to develop their career within a supportive, forward-thinking consultancy.
The Role you ll be involved in a broad mix of work, including:
- Cost planning and cost management
- Procurement and tendering
- Contract administration
- Project Management and project delivery
- Employer's Agent duties (where applicable)
- Client-facing responsibilities across a varied portfolio
What We re Looking For
- 2 5+ years' experience in Quantity Surveying within a consultancy environment
- Degree qualified in Quantity Surveying or a related discipline
- Ideally MRICS or working towards Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (RICS) chartership
- Previous consultancy experience (essential)
- Some Project Management experience or a genuine interest in delivering projects alongside traditional QS duties
- Strong commercial awareness and excellent communication skills
- Experience across multiple sectors is advantageous but not essential
Salary £40,000 £55,000 depending on experience
Location Plymouth (office-based with site visits)
