An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Managing Quantity Surveyor to join a leading UK infrastructure contractor delivering major Electricity Transmission and Overhead Line (OHL) projects across the Aberdeen region.
This role offers the chance to work on large-scale transmission infrastructure projects, supporting the commercial delivery of critical energy networks that are essential to the UK's future energy requirements.
To ensure a successful integration with the project team and build strong stakeholder relationships, this role will be site-based five days per week for the first six months. Following this initial period, and once a strong working relationship has been established with the client and wider project team, the position will transition to a hybrid working arrangement.
As a Managing Quantity Surveyor, you will play a key role within the commercial team, supporting project delivery, maximising profitability, managing risk, and ensuring robust commercial governance across a portfolio of transmission projects.
If you are a commercially astute Quantity Surveying professional with NEC contract experience and a background in infrastructure, utilities or energy projects, we'd be keen to hear from you.
