Quantity Surveyor
Location: East Kent with sites in London & South East
Salary: 60,000 - 70,000 DOE
THE OPPORTUNITY
CPXR is recruiting for a Quantity Surveyor to join a growing, award-winning Design & Build contractor based in East Kent.
This is an excellent opportunity for a Quantity Surveyor with Commercial Fit-Out and Design & Build experience looking to join a successful business delivering high-quality workplace, hospitality and retail projects across London and the South East.
The role will involve managing the commercial aspects of multiple projects from pre-construction through to final account, working closely with the Commercial Manager, Project Managers and clients.
THE ROLE
- Manage projects from tender through to final account
- Prepare valuations, variations and monthly CVRs
- Procure subcontractors and suppliers
- Monitor project budgets, costs and cashflow
- Negotiate subcontractor packages and final accounts
- Work closely with Project Managers and clients throughout project delivery
THE IDEAL CANDIDATE
- Previous experience as a Quantity Surveyor
- Essential Commercial Fit-Out and Design & Build experience
- Experience managing projects from procurement through to final account
- Strong understanding of valuations, variations, CVRs and cost reporting
- Excellent commercial awareness and negotiation skills
- Full UK driving licence
The successful candidate will be confident managing multiple projects simultaneously and building strong relationships with clients, subcontractors and internal teams.
