Senior Quantity Surveyor - Oxford
Salary: 75,000 - 85,000 + package
Project: 20m refurbishment / new build education scheme
Location: Oxford / Oxfordshire

Hays are working with a well-established Oxford-based main contractor who are looking to appoint a Senior Quantity Surveyor to join their commercial team on a new 20m refurbishment and new build scheme within the education sector.
The business has a strong reputation across Oxfordshire and the wider Southern region for delivering high-quality construction projects for a range of prestigious clients. The role will involve:
- Commercial responsibility on a 20m education refurbishment / new build scheme
- Managing procurement and subcontractor packages
- Preparing and reviewing subcontractor orders
- Managing valuations, variations and payment notices
- Producing accurate cost reports, forecasts and CVRs
- Managing commercial risk and identifying opportunities
- Working closely with the Project Manager and site team
- Supporting contractual matters where required
- Managing subcontractor accounts through to final account
- Building strong relationships with the client, consultants and supply chain
- Ensuring the project is delivered commercially, contractually and operationally to a high standard
