Structural Engineer

Chartered Civil / Structural Engineer required on a part time basis for a post tensioned bridge refurbishment scheme during the construction stage.

Required to represent a client as scheme designer, answering Technical Queries, communicating with Contractors, National Highways site supervisors and H&S representatives on site. Carry out Works Examiner role and sign Construction Compliance Certificate upon completion. Based remotely but required to attend site when necessary (day or night shifts - location: Thurlaston, Rugby, Warwickshire).

• Works Examiner role experience
• Experience of post tensioned bridges and site investigations
• Familiarity with DMRB standards and good understanding/experience of National Highways procedures
• Technical and commercial management skills, good communicator with technical ability to drive problem solving
• Driving licence
• National Highway Passport, CSCS card required
