Job Description of the Associate/ Senior Quantity Surveyor Plymouth, Devon

If you're an MRICS Cost Consultant dreaming of a role where "growth" refers to your career trajectory rather than just the size of a project budget, we need to talk.

Our client-a premier multidisciplinary consultancy with a massive reputation in the South West-is looking for a senior leader to anchor their Plymouth team. This isn't just another rung on the ladder; it's a direct launchpad toward a Director or Partner role. You'll be joining a firm known for high morale, exceptionally low turnover, and a culture that actually values its people.

As an Associate Quantity Surveyor, you aren't just a "numbers person." You are a mentor, a strategist, and a business builder. With a clear mandate to grow the team over the next 5-10 years, you will:

  • Lead the Pack: Manage and inspire the next generation of Cost Consultants.

  • Drive Strategy: Play a pivotal role in expanding the firm's reach across the South West.

  • Master Diverse Sectors: Take the helm on high-value projects in Healthcare, Education, Residential, and Commercial sectors.

  • Showcase Your Gravitas: Operate with the authority of a senior professional, ideally bringing Associate Director-level experience to the table.

Requirements for the Senior / Associate Chartered Surveyor, Plymouth

We are looking for a top-tier professional who knows the UK consultancy landscape inside out. To be successful, you'll need:

  • MRICS Chartered Status: This is non-negotiable.

  • Senior-Level Pedigree: Significant experience within a UK-based Cost Consultancy.

  • Relevant Education: A degree in Quantity Surveying or a related construction discipline.

  • A Love for the Ocean City: A genuine desire to live and work in Plymouth-where the lifestyle is as impressive as the projects.
