Overview
We are seeking an experienced Small Works Fire Engineer to install, commission and maintain fire alarm and emergency lighting systems in the London region. This field-based role will manage small projects independently, ensure compliance with BS5839, and deliver high-quality fire safety solutions through fault finding, remedial work and system upgrades. This role is 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday. Salary: OTE £65k+ (uncapped).
Responsibilities
- Install, commission and maintain fire alarm and emergency lighting systems.
- Produce quotations for small works and manage jobs from enquiry to completion.
- Collaborate with recommendations, commercial teams and Key Account Managers to progress opportunities.
- Provide excellent customer service and clear communication throughout each project.
- Identify upgrade and improvement opportunities for clients.
- Manage your own diary and area.
What you will bring / Qualifications
- Proven experience as a Fire Engineer with strong fire alarm system knowledge.
- Ability to work at height; IPAF 3a/3b advantageous.
- Strong customer-focused approach and ability to work independently.
- Excellent teamwork and a can-do attitude.
- Current Driving Licence.
