Quantity Surveyor - Civils / Concrete Repair & Structural Strengthening

Location: London

Salary: Highly competitive + excellent package

Role

Quantity Surveyor role covering civils and structural repair/strengthening projects, with a particular focus on concrete remediation, post tensioning and CFRP strengthening works. Based in Central London, working on high profile commercial, residential, retail and infrastructure projects.

Joining a specialist, engineer led business recognised as an industry leader in its field. Working closely with design engineers, project and site teams on a mix of new build and remedial/repair contracts.

Requirements
  • Proven Quantity Surveying experience within civils, ideally with exposure to concrete repair, strengthening or post tensioning projects.
  • Strong understanding of contract administration and commercial management.
  • Working knowledge of NEC and/or JCT contract forms.
  • Experience managing subcontractor accounts, valuations and final accounts.
  • Strong cost reporting, forecasting and CVR (cost value reconciliation) experience.
  • Confident liaising directly with clients, main contractors and site teams.
  • Sound understanding of measurement and estimating for civils/structural works.
  • Relevant industry qualifications/chartership (RICS or ICE) preferred, though not essential.
  • Full UK driving licence (site visits may be required).
  • Strong communication, negotiation and commercial awareness skills.
