You will take ownership of refurbishment, alteration, and major works schemes, acting as a key point of contact for clients while supporting junior team members and contributing to the wider growth of the service.

- Lead surveying and contract administration across a range of refurbishment and major works projects
- Undertake detailed surveys, feasibility studies, and provide technical advice
- Prepare and review specifications, schedules of work, and tender documentation under JCT contracts
- Act as Contract Administrator, managing variations, instructions, defects, and certification
- Chair meetings, manage stakeholders, and produce clear project reports
- Coordinate site inspectors and specialist consultants
- Build and maintain strong client relationships throughout the project lifecycle
- Support and mentor junior surveyors within the team
- Contribute to business development and team growth
To be considered, you will need:

- Strong experience within Building Surveying, ideally at senior level
- A background delivering projects within public sector or social housing environments
- Proven Contract Administrator experience on refurbishment and major works schemes
- Advanced knowledge of JCT contracts and contract administration
- Technical expertise across refurbishment works such as roofing, windows, structural repairs, and internal programmes
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
- A structured and organised approach with the ability to lead projects and support others
- Good IT skills across Microsoft Office and surveying systems
