You will take ownership of refurbishment, alteration, and major works schemes, acting as a key point of contact for clients while supporting junior team members and contributing to the wider growth of the service.

In this role, you will:

• Lead surveying and contract administration across a range of refurbishment and major works projects
• Undertake detailed surveys, feasibility studies, and provide technical advice
• Prepare and review specifications, schedules of work, and tender documentation under JCT contracts
• Act as Contract Administrator, managing variations, instructions, defects, and certification
• Chair meetings, manage stakeholders, and produce clear project reports
• Coordinate site inspectors and specialist consultants
• Build and maintain strong client relationships throughout the project lifecycle
• Support and mentor junior surveyors within the team
• Contribute to business development and team growth

To be considered, you will need:

• Strong experience within Building Surveying, ideally at senior level
• A background delivering projects within public sector or social housing environments
• Proven Contract Administrator experience on refurbishment and major works schemes
• Advanced knowledge of JCT contracts and contract administration
• Technical expertise across refurbishment works such as roofing, windows, structural repairs, and internal programmes
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
• A structured and organised approach with the ability to lead projects and support others
• Good IT skills across Microsoft Office and surveying systems
