Eden Brown is working with a leading infrastructure consultancy to recruit a Senior Quantity Surveyor for a major UK water sector programme.

This is an excellent opportunity to join a high-profile AMP8 framework, supporting the commercial delivery of large-scale infrastructure projects. Working closely with client stakeholders, project teams and delivery partners, you will play a key role in maintaining commercial control, managing risk and maximising value throughout the project lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage the commercial and contractual aspects of infrastructure projects from inception through to final account.
  • Support cost reporting, forecasting and budget management across multiple projects.
  • Administer contracts and manage change control processes.
  • Prepare, review and negotiate subcontractor packages and accounts.
  • Monitor project performance and provide accurate commercial reporting to senior stakeholders.
  • Identify, manage and mitigate commercial risks and opportunities.
  • Support procurement activities and supply chain management.
  • Ensure compliance with client procedures, governance requirements and commercial best practice.
  • Work collaboratively with project managers, engineers and delivery teams to achieve successful project outcomes.


Experience Required

  • Proven experience as a Quantity Surveyor or Senior Quantity Surveyor within infrastructure, utilities, water, construction or major projects environments.
  • Strong knowledge of cost management, forecasting, valuations and commercial reporting.
  • Experience administering NEC3 / NEC4 contracts. Pre and Post contract stages
  • Ability to manage subcontractor accounts and change management processes.
  • Excellent commercial awareness and contract administration skills.
  • Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
  • Degree qualified in Quantity Surveying or a related discipline.

Desirable

  • Experience working on water sector or AMP frameworks.
  • Membership of RICS or progressing towards professional accreditation.

  • Experience within regulated infrastructure environments.
  • Knowledge of alliance or framework delivery models.
