Quantity Surveyor
We have an excellent opportunity for a Quantity Surveyor to join a leading tier 1 main contractor based in Hampshire. The business unit undertakes projects across the healthcare, education, retirement living and industrial sectors valuing between 20mil - 100mil+. Projects are a mix of JCT and NEC forms of contract, and are often directly awarded.
As a result of a busy upcoming pipeline of work, they're now looking for a Quantity Surveyor to join the team.
About the role of Quantity Surveyor:
As Quantity Surveyor, you will be responsible for managing projects from pre-construction through to final account, reporting into the Commercial Manager.
Key Responsibilities as Quantity Surveyor:
- Be involved in 2-stage tenders
- Sub-contract procurement
- Manage sub-contractors accounts on site, dealing with variations
- Deal with final accounts
Key requirements for this Quantity Surveyor role:
- Construction related HNC / Degree
- Experience working within a main contractor
- Experience administering JCT forms of contract
- Must live within a commutable distance to Portsmouth
