Structural Engineer Manchester

One of our trusted clients is continuing to grow into 2026, and we re looking for a skilled Structural Engineer to join their Manchester team. You ll work on a wide range of structural engineering projects across residential, commercial, industrial, and mixed use developments. This role offers real responsibility, technical variety, and the chance to contribute to innovative designs that shape the built environment across the North West.

• Produce structural designs in steel, concrete, timber, and masonry

• Prepare calculations, drawings, and technical reports

• Use industry standard software (e.g., Tekla Tedds, Robot, Revit)

• Collaborate with architects, contractors, and other engineering disciplines

• Attend site visits, inspections, and client meetings

• Support junior engineers and technicians, contributing to a strong team culture

• Ensure designs comply with relevant codes, standards, and best practice

We re looking for someone technically strong, proactive, and confident working across a variety of structural challenges. Ideally, you will have:

• A degree in Structural or Civil Engineering

• Chartered or working toward chartership with IStructE or ICE

• Experience delivering structural designs across multiple materials

• Strong analytical and problem solving skills

• Proficiency with structural design software

• Clear communication skills and a collaborative mindset
