Building Control Surveyor
Location: London
Working Pattern: Hybrid - 3 days per week in the office near Vauxhall
Salary: Competitive and flexible depending on experience
We are currently recruiting for a Building Control Surveyor to join a rapidly growing Registered Building Control Approver based in London.

The Role
You will be responsible for managing a varied portfolio of Building Control projects across London, working closely with clients, designers, contractors and other stakeholders to ensure compliance with Building Regulations.
Responsibilities will include:
Managing Building Control projects from initial application through to completion
Undertaking site inspections across London
Reviewing plans, drawings and technical information
Providing advice on Building Regulations and compliance matters
Liaising with architects, developers, contractors and other project stakeholders
Maintaining accurate project records and documentation
Identifying potential compliance issues and providing practical technical guidance
Supporting the wider team with the delivery of a high-quality Building Control service
All work is based within the M25, with inspections allocated geographically wherever possible to reduce unnecessary travel.
About You
We are interested in speaking with Building Control professionals at different levels of experience who are:
Experienced within Building Control or Building Regulations
Comfortable undertaking site inspections and reviewing technical information
Client-focused with strong communication skills
Ambitious and keen to progress their career
Organised and able to manage their own workload
Looking to join a growing organisation where they can have a genuine impact
Candidates with relevant Building Inspector registration would be particularly welcomed.
