Role: Senior Quantity Surveyor
Rate: £450 £500/Day Umbrella PAYE (DOE)
Location: Hybrid
Length of Contract: 6 months initially
Working Pattern: 5 days per week

Our client is looking for an experienced Senior Quantity Surveyor to support the commercial management of a major infrastructure client. This is a hybrid position with responsibility across commercial reporting, forecasting, change management and subcontract procurement.

Job Role

As Senior Quantity Surveyor, you will take responsibility for the commercial management of the project, acting as a key point of contact with the client across all commercial matters.

You will manage AFP's, change, forecasting and end-of-life financial forecasts, alongside month-end reporting. You will also support subcontract procurement and management, as well as the procurement of materials and plant.

Requirements

Previous experience as a Senior Quantity Surveyor within infrastructure, utilities, energy or a similar environment
Strong commercial and contract management experience
Experience managing applications for payment (AFPs)
Strong change management experience
Experience producing monthly and project financial forecasts
Subcontract procurement and management experience
Experience supporting material and plant procurement
Strong client-facing and stakeholder management skills
Ability to independently manage the commercial requirements of a project

The position is an initial 6-month contract, running until February 2027, with a rate of £450 £500/day Umbrella PAYE. The role will operate on a hybrid working basis.
