The Role
As a Senior Building Surveyor, you will be responsible for delivering a broad range of professional and project-led building surveying services to an established client base.Key responsibilities will include:
- Contract Administration duties under JCT contracts
- Managing refurbishment, maintenance and improvement projects from inception to completion
- Undertaking building surveys and preparing technical reports
- Preparing specifications, schedules of works and tender documentation
- Employer's Agent and project management duties where required
- Defect diagnosis and providing practical solutions
- Supporting clients across fire safety remediation and compliance projects
- Mentoring and supporting junior members of the team
- Building and maintaining strong client relationships
About You: The successful candidate will possess:
- Degree qualified in Building Surveying or a related discipline
- MRICS qualified or working towards chartership
- Proven experience within a consultancy environment
- Strong knowledge of JCT Contract Administration
- Experience delivering projects within social housing, education, public sector, or fire safety sectors
- Excellent communication and client-facing skills
- A proactive and commercially minded approach
