What You'll Be Doing

• Supporting delivery of major highways schemes across the Midlands

• Applying cost intelligence principles to improve project performance

• Working across both pre contract and post contract phases

• Producing cost estimates, forecasts, and reports that drive decision-making

• Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams across clients, consultants and contractors

Grade: Consultant

Location: Birmingham Midlands Region

Discipline: Consultancy Quantity Surveying (RICS Accredited)

Department: Commercial Funding & Finance (Programmes & Advisory) A degree in Quantity Surveying or qualified by experience

Consultant level in Quantity Surveying with experience in highways

Experience in both pre-contract and post-contract estimating

Exposure to consultancy environments (or a mix of consultancy + contractor experience)

Understanding of data-driven cost management

A proactive mindset: someone who wants to learn, question, and grow
