Chartered Building Surveyor
South East London
We are working with a highly respected property consultancy in South East London, looking to appoint a Chartered Building Surveyor to the team.
This is an excellent opportunity for an MRICS Building Surveyor, including those who have recently achieved chartership, to join a consultancy offering a varied workload across building surveying and project delivery, with a strong focus on the residential sector. Experience in fire safety and compliance work would be a significant advantage.
The Role
You'll be involved in a diverse range of professional and project based work, including:
- Building and condition surveys
- Residential building surveying
- Refurbishment and improvement projects
- Planned maintenance and repair programmes
- Defect diagnosis and technical advice
- Project management from inception through to completion
- Preparation of specifications, schedules and tender documentation
- Fire safety related surveying and projects
About You
We are looking for a Chartered Building Surveyor with strong technical and consultancy experience.
You'll ideally have:
- MRICS qualification in Building Surveying
- Previous experience within a property or surveying consultancy
- Experience working within the residential sector
- The ability to independently manage instructions and deliver projects
- Strong technical report writing and client facing skills
- Good commercial awareness and the ability to manage your own workload
- Fire safety experience would be highly desirable
This would suit a technically strong surveyor who enjoys getting involved in the detail of projects and professional instructions.
