Are you an experienced Building Surveyor looking for your next Local Authority opportunity?
We're working with a Midlands-based council seeking a Building Surveyor to support the delivery of repairs, maintenance, and planned works across their property portfolio.
Key Responsibilities for building surveyor role:
- Carry out property inspections and condition surveys.
- Diagnose defects and prepare specifications of work.
- Oversee contractors and monitor project delivery.
- Produce technical reports and provide surveying advice.
- Ensure compliance with relevant legislation and standards.
Requirements for building surveyor role:
- Previous Building Surveying experience.
- Experience within Local Authority or Social Housing desirable.
- Strong knowledge of building repairs and maintenance.
- Excellent communication and report-writing skills.
