Senior Quantity Surveyor

Conrad Consulting is recruiting for an experienced Senior Quantity Surveyor to join a leading infrastructure consultancy, working on major utility and infrastructure projects across the region.

This is an excellent opportunity for a commercially focused Quantity Surveyor to take a senior role within a growing team, working on high-value infrastructure projects and providing commercial management throughout the project lifecycle.

As Senior Quantity Surveyor, you will be responsible for providing comprehensive commercial and quantity surveying support across major infrastructure schemes. You will work closely with project teams, contractors and stakeholders to ensure projects are delivered commercially and contractually effectively.

Key responsibilities will include:

• Commercial management of major infrastructure projects from pre-contract through to completion
• Cost control, forecasting and reporting
• Managing valuations, variations, compensation events and final accounts
• Contract administration and commercial risk management
• Supporting project teams with commercial advice and reporting
• Working closely with clients, contractors and wider project stakeholders
• Providing guidance and support to junior members of the commercial team

We are looking for an experienced Senior Quantity Surveyor with a strong background in infrastructure, utilities, energy or a related sector.

Essential:

• Strong experience working under NEC4 contracts
• Excellent knowledge and practical experience of NEC4 Option C
• Strong commercial and contractual understanding
• Proven experience managing costs, change, risk and reporting
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills

Candidates will be considered from both main contractor and consultancy backgrounds, provided they have the required NEC4 and infrastructure experience.
