Join the projects division of a specialist social housing contractor as a Senior Quantity Surveyor and take commercial ownership of a recently secured retrofit refurbishment contract.

Working within an experienced commercial team in Brisol, you'll support external works across high-rise residential blocks, including scaffolding and cladding renewal.
The Role
As the Senior Quantity Surveyor, you'll:
- Lead commercial management of the contract, securing full contractual entitlement.
- Provide expert guidance on contractual arrangements and manage potential disputes.
- Monitor costs and revenue, producing cash flow forecasts and revenue profiles.
- Maximise cash flow through accurate invoicing and prompt resolution of client queries.
- Deliver financial reporting, cost control governance and support against project budgets.
- Prepare subcontractor orders, onboard suppliers and contribute to team development.
To be successful as the Senior Quantity Surveyor, you'll have:
- An essential industry-related qualification.
- Essential contractor-side QS experience, ideally gained with a Tier 1 contractor.
- Senior QS experience or established QS experience ready for the next step.
- Essential advanced Excel skills and experience of management accounts.
- Strong contractual awareness, negotiation and communication skills.
- A full UK driving licence and willingness to travel as required.
- Ideally, social housing refurbishment, retrofit or external refurbishment experience.
- NEC4, contract law, dispute resolution or complex contract experience would be advantageous.
- Salary of up to £60,000 per year.
- Full-time, permanent role based in Bristol, with three days onsite weekly.
- Discretionary profit-related bonus of up to 10%.
