Job Description
We are seeking a Regional Building Surveyor to manage a portfolio of residential properties, delivering surveys, inspections, and planned maintenance projects across the region. You will play a key role in ensuring homes are safe, compliant, and maintained to a high standard.
Key Responsibilities:
- Carry out property inspections and condition surveys.
- Diagnose building defects and recommend remedial works.
- Prepare specifications, schedules of work, and reports.
- Manage contractors and monitor quality on site.
- Oversee planned maintenance, refurbishment, and compliance projects.
- Support disrepair cases, void properties, and capital investment programmes.
- Liaise with residents, stakeholders, and internal teams to ensure excellent customer service.
About You:
- Experience within social housing, local authority, consultancy, or residential property sectors.
- Strong knowledge of building construction, repairs, and maintenance.
- Ability to manage projects from survey through to completion.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
