Structural Engineer - Cardiff
Location: Cardiff, South Wales
Salary: Up to 50,000, depending on experience

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Structural Engineer with 3-4 years' experience, or more, to join a well-established and forward-thinking structural design consultancy based in Cardiff.

The Role
As a Structural Engineer, you will be involved in the design and delivery of a variety of structural engineering projects, working closely with architects, contractors, clients and other consultants.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Undertaking structural analysis and design across a range of projects
- Producing structural calculations, reports and technical documentation
- Designing structures in a variety of materials
- Developing structural schemes from concept through to detailed design
- Producing and reviewing technical drawings
- Liaising with architects, contractors and other members of the design team
- Attending site visits and providing technical support where required
- Managing your own workload and contributing to successful project delivery
About You
The ideal Structural Engineer will have around 3-4 years' relevant consultancy experience, although candidates with more experience are also encouraged to apply.
You should have:
- A degree in Civil or Structural Engineering
- Relevant experience within a structural design consultancy
- A strong understanding of structural engineering principles
- Experience working across a range of building projects
- Good structural analysis and design skills
- Strong technical calculation and problem-solving abilities
- Excellent communication and attention to detail
- The ability to work independently while contributing effectively within a wider team
