Your new role
As a Structural Engineer, you will play a key role in the design and delivery of a diverse portfolio of projects from initial concept through to construction. Working closely with colleagues, clients, and design teams, you will contribute to the successful delivery of high-quality engineering solutions.

Key responsibilities include:

• Producing structural analysis, design calculations, and technical reports.
• Designing structures in steel, reinforced concrete, timber, and masonry.
• Preparing design documentation and reviewing drawings.
• Attending project meetings and liaising with clients, architects, contractors, and consultants.
• Undertaking site inspections and providing technical support during construction.
• Ensuring projects are delivered in accordance with relevant standards, budgets, and programme requirements.
• Supporting the development of junior engineers and technicians.

What you'll need to succeed

• A degree in Civil or Structural Engineering.
• At least 3 years' structural design experience within a UK consultancy environment.
• Experience working on a variety of building structures projects.
• Proficiency in structural design software such as TEDDS, MasterSeries, Tekla Structural Designer, or similar.
• Good understanding of Eurocodes and UK Building Regulations.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
• The ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
• Progress towards Chartered Engineer status (IStructE or ICE) would be advantageous.
