Structural Engineer / Senior Structural Engineer

Are you a Structural Engineer looking to move beyond repetitive designs and get involved in technically challenging industrial projects?
We're working with an established engineering business that is expanding its structural design team to support projects across renewable energy, hydrogen, carbon capture, power generation and industrial infrastructure.
This is an opportunity to take genuine ownership of your engineering work, collaborate with experienced multidisciplinary teams and see your designs contribute to real-world energy solutions.
What you'll be doing
- Designing and analysing industrial steelwork, including portal frames, braced structures and modular installations.
- Performing structural calculations covering connections, foundations, lifting equipment and fabricated structures.
- Supporting projects from initial design through to detailed engineering and delivery.
- Working alongside mechanical engineers and CAD teams to develop practical, buildable solutions.
- Contributing to design reviews, technical decisions and continuous improvement.
What we're looking for
- A degree in Civil, Structural or Mechanical Engineering.
- At least 3 years' structural design experience, or 6+ years for senior-level consideration.
- Experience with structural analysis software such as Robot, STAAD.Pro, ETABS or Tekla.
- Knowledge of steelwork design, connections, foundations and relevant design standards.
