Class 3 Building Control Surveyor

Our client is currently seeking a meticulous and experienced Class 3 Building Control Surveyor to join their dedicated team. This contract position is a fantastic opportunity to contribute to the building sector within one of the UK's most prestigious councils.

• Conducting detailed inspections and assessments of building works to ensure compliance with building regulations
• Managing projects and ensuring they adhere to Class 3H and Class 3G standards
• Providing clear and detailed reports on inspections and compliance findings
• Liaising with architects, builders, and developers to provide expert advice and guidance
• Reviewing and approving building plans and specifications
• Ensuring all construction work meets safety, structural, and other relevant standards
• Investigating and resolving any building control issues or complaints
• Maintaining accurate records of inspections, findings, and actions taken

• Substantial experience in building control and knowledge of building regulations
• Proficiency with Class 3H and Class 3G standards
• Strong analytical and assessment skills for evaluating compliance and identifying issues
• Excellent communication skills to liaise with stakeholders and produce clear reports
• Attention to detail and the ability to work independently as well as part of a team
• Relevant qualifications in building control or a related field
• Ability to manage multiple projects effectively within set deadlines
