About the role Our Client is a main contractor / consultancy delivering residential / commercial / infrastructure projects across the region. We need a Quantity Surveyor to manage costs and keep our projects commercially on track.
What you will do
- Prepare cost plans, estimates and bills of quantities
- Procure and manage subcontractor packages
- Value work on site, prepare interim applications and agree final accounts
- Produce monthly cost/value reconciliations (CVRs) and forecasts
- Manage variations, change control and contractual notices
- Advise project teams on commercial risks and opportunities
What you need
- Degree or HNC in Quantity Surveying, Commercial Management or similar
- 3+ years as a Quantity Surveyor in construction
- Good working knowledge of JCT and/or NEC3/4 contracts
- Strong Excel and measurement skills
- Confident negotiating with subcontractors and clients
