What you'll be doing:
Design practical, economic structural solutions that align with architectural concepts
Coordinate structural designs with multidisciplinary colleagues to deliver joined-up outcomes
Carry out structural surveys and produce clear, concise technical reports
Support bid proposals and contribute to fee quotations
Build and maintain strong client relationships to help secure repeat business
Work from concept through to completion, ensuring quality, sustainability, and client satisfaction
What you'll bring:
A Bachelor's or Master's degree in Civil or Structural Engineering
Working towards chartered status (ICE or IStructE)
Experience across a range of sectors, including new build development and refurbishments/alterations
Familiarity with structural materials such as steel, concrete, timber, and masonry
Confidence working with BIM and 3D design tools (e.g., Revit)
Strong understanding of structural standards and regulations
A proactive, solutions-focused approach with strong analytical ability
Ability to produce structural calculations and sketches, and provide clear mark-ups for Technician draughting
Strong written English skills for coherent, well-structured survey reports
