Building Control Team Leader (Registered Building Inspector)

Location: Midlands Area (80–90% Remote)
Contract: Initial 6 months | Outside IR35 available
Rate: £70–£85 per hour
Hours: Full-time (part-time considered)

A new opportunity has arisen for an experienced Building Control Team Leader / Registered Building Inspector to join our client’s team across the Midlands area on an initial 6-month rolling contract, with a strong likelihood of extension.

This role is predominantly remote (approximately 80–90%), with a small amount of office presence required. The successful candidate will have previous experience leading or managing Registered Building Inspectors and will have operated at Principal RBI, Team Leader, or Manager level.

The Role:
You will provide leadership and technical oversight to a Building Control team, while supporting Building Regulations plan checking and site inspection services across a range of domestic and/or commercial projects (grade dependent).

Key Details:
• £70–£85 per hour
• Initial 6-month contract with strong likelihood of extension
• Outside IR35 available
• 80–90% remote working with minimal office attendance required
• Full-time or Part-time candidates can be considered
