Registered Building Inspector

Class 2a or higher, consideration will also be given to experienced Class 1 applicants

Hours: Monday to Thursday 9:00am to 4.45pm, Friday 9:00am to 4.30pm

Role Purpose
The Building Control Inspector will be responsible for providing site inspection and plan checking services on building control projects, both for the Company and for our consultancy clients. The role is to assess and monitor projects to ensure compliance with relevant regulations in line with operating procedures, and professional standards, while representing the company with professionalism and integrity.

Requirements

• Proven experience in building control, site inspections and plan checking.
• Strong knowledge of relevant Building Regulations and associated guidance.
• Excellent communication skills for liaising with clients, contractors, and colleagues.
• High level of attention to detail, organisation, and record-keeping.
• Full UK driving licence (essential).
• Service sites within Kent and the South/East.
