Building Control Manager
Location: East Midlands
Contract: Rolling contract – long term runner
Rate: £75–£80 per hour
Hours: Full-time (part-time considered)
A new opportunity has arisen for an experienced Building Control Manager to join a Local Authority in the East Midlands on a rolling contract, with strong potential for this to run long term.
This role would suit a Registered Building Inspector with prior experience managing or leading a Building Control team, looking for a stable, well-supported contract position.
The Role:
You will be responsible for overseeing the delivery of Building Control services, managing a team of RBIs, and ensuring compliance with Building Regulations across a range of projects. You will play a key role in maintaining service standards, supporting team development, and liaising with internal stakeholders.
Key Details:
• £75–£80 per hour
• Rolling contract with strong long-term prospects
• Inside IR35
• Full-time role with part-time flexibility considered
• Management role overseeing a Building Control team
