Registered Building Inspector (Contract)

Registered Building Inspector (Class 2B+) – Kent – Up to £115,000/Annum

Location: Hybrid Working
Contract: 6–12 Month Rolling Contract
Rate: Up to £65 per hour
Hours: Full-Time (Part-Time Considered)

A new opportunity has arisen for a Registered Building Inspector (Class 2B+) to join a Local Authority Building Control team on a long-term contract basis. 

This role would suit an experienced RBI looking for a stable contract within a small, well-run and close-knit team. The successful candidate will benefit from a supportive working environment, hybrid working arrangements and the opportunity to work across a varied Building Control caseload.

The Role:

You will undertake a mixture of Building Control duties including plan checking and site inspections, ensuring compliance with Building Regulations and associated legislation. Responsibilities and project complexity will be aligned to your RBI registration level.

Key Details:

• Up to £65 per hour
• 6–12 month rolling contract with strong potential for extension
• Hybrid working arrangement
• Join a small, supportive and well-established Building Control team
• Varied workload across Building Control projects
• Full-time preferred, although part-time applicants will be considered
