Working as part of a high-performing alliance supporting Anglian Water s AMP8 capital delivery programme, you ll be at the forefront of one of the largest and most significant periods of investment the industry has seen. The Opportunity
As a Senior Quantity Surveyor, you ll take a leading commercial role within an integrated delivery team, managing the financial and contractual performance of major infrastructure schemes from inception through to completion.
You ll work closely with operational teams, project stakeholders, and senior commercial leaders to drive value, maximise efficiencies, and ensure commercial excellence across a diverse portfolio of projects. Key Responsibilities
- Lead the commercial and cost management of major projects and portfolios of work.
- Deliver accurate financial reporting, cost forecasting, and commercial analysis to support strategic decision-making.
- Ensure a robust understanding of contractual arrangements across all stakeholders and project teams.
- Partner with operational teams to identify efficiencies and deliver value engineering opportunities.
- Drive strong commercial governance and contribute to the successful delivery of key infrastructure projects.
- Support and influence project performance within a collaborative alliance environment.
About You
Essential
- Proven experience in commercial management and cost control within civil engineering, utilities, or infrastructure environments.
- Strong commercial awareness with the ability to influence and build relationships across multidisciplinary teams.
- A proactive, detail-focused approach with excellent communication skills.
Desirable
- Degree (or equivalent) in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, Engineering, or a related discipline.
- Experience working within major infrastructure frameworks or alliance environments.
