Registered Building Inspector (Level 3) – BRPD Advisory Consultant
Location: Fully Remote
Rate: £75 - £85 per hour
Contract: Ad hoc | Flexible Hours
A growing client of ours is looking to appoint multiple Level 3 Registered Building Inspectors to support their expanding Building Regulations Principal Designer (BRPD) advisory team.
This is an excellent opportunity for experienced RBIs who are interested in broadening their exposure to BRPD advisory work without stepping away from their current role.
Working fully remotely, you'll provide technical advisory support across a varied portfolio of commercial and high-end residential developments, ranging from Class 2D projects through to complex Class 3H schemes.
The Opportunity
Initially, the workload will be relatively light, making it ideal for those looking to supplement their existing income or gain valuable experience within BRPD advisory services.
As demand continues to grow, there will be the opportunity to increase your hours, although this can be tailored to suit your availability. Whether you're looking for a few hours each week or up to 15–20 hours, the workload can be managed around your existing commitments.
Requirements
- Registered Building Inspector – Level 3 (or L3 capable as RBI status not mandatory)
- Strong technical understanding of the Building Safety Act and current Building Regulations
- Experience working across a range of commercial & complex projects
- Excellent communication and technical advisory skills
- An interest in Building Regulations Principal Designer (BRPD) services
